Story

Since 2012 we have been on a mission to reinvent the classic treat, and create simpler, kinder plant-based alternatives that are better for you and better for the planet. Just using a few simple ingredients, sourced from the best suppliers, made in small batches, and as sustainably as possible. But as food lovers, it still has to deliver on taste.


From very early on, we knew what we wanted to do. We wanted to create a health food brand with better for you alternatives, starting by redefining a much loved classic – ice cream. So we got started from our home kitchen in Dublin. We borrowed an ice cream machine and set off to create the perfect recipe for Frozen Goodness, our ice cream alternative. 

Our naivety and lack of experience stood to us, as did our determination and belief that it was possible. We progressed to chocolate and other amazing treats that we have to offer today!

From our kitchen to farmers market, to our own store. It has been a great journey, and we are thankful to everyone who shared it with us.

Our Mission

We believe that now is a time for less: less ingredients, less packaging, less harm, less mass production, less chemicals. But we also need more creativity, more heart, more nutrition, more transparency, more honesty, more kindness, more community. We never use any gums, stabilisers or anything you can’t pronounce in our treats. Instead, we focus on real, simple plant based ingredients that are grown on trees.


The Treathouse

In January 2022 we began to expand our team and opened the doors to our flagship store, The Treathouse. This new HQ for Nobó is be a vibrant, positive space for those looking to treat themselves better! It is a home for simpler, kinder, plant-based treats. Everything we produce at The Treathouse is dairy-free, gluten free and refined sugar free and handmade daily using wholesome simple ingredients.

Our Chocolate Lab is a creative space where our Chocolatiers craft handmade truffles,  ganache and pralines from our creamy single-origin, dairy-free chocolate. No matter what we make, we always go back to basics and try to improve!
