It's officially 2022. The New Year is here! Not sure about you, but we are definitely feeling the indulgences of the past few weeks. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying yourself around this time of the year, and let's face it, it was a weird one (no judgement on how you got through it!!), there seems to come a time when our bodies begin to crave the good stuff again.
Green smoothies are a great way to get those fruits and veggies back into your diet. Spinach is a wonderful antioxidant and provides calcium, Vitamin A, C & K. The pineapple helps to boost immunity and suppress inflammation, while the banana provides us with a source of potassium and magnesium. These fruits & veg contain that all-important Vitamin C, for any of you out there fighting off colds or indeed the dreaded Covid!!
We have also added a tablespoon of our Roasted Pistachio Caramelly spread, which combined with the oat milk, gives the smoothie a lovely rich nutty flavour!

Green Smoothie Ingredients:
- 100g frozen pineapple
- 1/2 pear
- 1 tbsp roasted pistachio caramelly spread
- 30g baby spinach
- 30g diary free coconut yoghurt
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 pear
- 175ml oat milk
Using a blender, combine all ingredients until smooth and enjoy!
